Everyone deserves a break from time to time and our homes can provide much needed respite care designed to give carers and the people they are caring for a change of scenery and break from their day-to-day responsibilities.
Respite care is a short, temporary stay in a care home and a respite care stay can be as short as a day or as long as a few weeks. Depending on the type of care needed, we can adapt our respite care to provide individual care for residential care, nursing care and dementia care needs.
For the person having the respite care, we will tailor the care to their needs making them feel welcome in the home and providing not only home comforts such as great food and a lovely environment, but also stimulating daily activities, events and the chance to keep up with hobbies or even try out some new ones.
