Rivelin Care Home in Cleethorpes has a 'home from home' atmosphere. It is a friendly, inviting place with 'good vibes' which especially welcomes those suffering with dementia. The manager and her deputy can just as easily be found helping a resident as working in the office. The welfare and happiness of the residents takes priority. The manager's door is always open to residents and their relatives whatever the problem and the staff greet all visitors like old friends. Both my parents became residents. Mother had serious health problems and Father had dementia. Father was the happiest he had been for some time and when he died I could not have asked for a more dignified and sympathetic approach towards the whole family. Mother is much better now. She says that since she can no longer cope at home she would not want to live anywhere else, the food is wonderful and she has never had so many friends
