Caring for people

Customer Testimonials

This is a home of a very high standard. Both my mother and the family are very happy with the service provided, the staff fall over themselves to help both residents and residents' families. My mother is very settled here. I would recommend this care home to anybody. The home is very clean and well organised.

Rivelin Care Home in Cleethorpes has a 'home from home' atmosphere. It is a friendly, inviting place with 'good vibes' which especially welcomes those suffering with dementia. The manager and her deputy can just as easily be found helping a resident as working in the office. The welfare and happiness of the residents takes priority. The manager's door is always open to residents and their relatives whatever the problem and the staff greet all visitors like old friends. Both my parents became residents. Mother had serious health problems and Father had dementia. Father was the happiest he had been for some time and when he died I could not have asked for a more dignified and sympathetic approach towards the whole family. Mother is much better now. She says that since she can no longer cope at home she would not want to live anywhere else, the food is wonderful and she has never had so many friends

I would recommend this home for anyone, placed in the middle of Cleethorpes. A Couple of minutes walk to St Peters Ave for shopping and the other way a couple of mins walk to the library and beach. As you walk into the home you are greeted by the friendly staff who work there. The manager's door is always open if you have any problems and nothing is hidden from you. Meals with your love ones are there, lovely cooked meals for dinner and tea time meals, and a superb Sunday lunch (which is my favourite) are offered at a small charge... All latest inspection documents are always in the reception to be read, I have made some great friends within the Care home and I always try and speak to most of the residents. It's a home from home, I went to see a couple others before finally making my mind up but this one felt good as I walked in.

After looking around the Rivelin, I was most surprised at how homely a care home could be. I looked at the Rivelin for respite care for my mother and found the home most appealing. I wouldn't hesitate on choosing the home. On entering the building I was greeted by well mannered staff whom where more than willing to show me and my mum around.

This is a perfect place to live, especially considering your aging years.
